Oscar Hood
Oscar Hood is a government relations and external affairs professional specializing in wildfire prevention and natural resource policy in Southern California. He serves as the Wildfire Prevention County Coordinator for Orange County, working closely with CAL FIRE, OCFA, local governments, and state legislators to advance regional wildfire mitigation strategies.
Oscar helps lead COAST, a multi-agency working group dedicated to proactive wildfire prevention, vegetation management, and community safety. Through his work with the Irvine Ranch Conservancy, he supports large-scale restoration projects, state and federal grant programs, and policy initiatives that bridge the gap between land management, legislation, and on-the-ground resilience.
